Assessment & Therapy for Individuals and Families
On our wellbeing journey we need to know where we are, where we are going, and what is occurring around us. This is not always obvious. We offer assessments & therapy for individuals and families facing complex psychosocial issues, mental health challenges, trauma and trauma responses, or those wanting to survive and thrive. Our approach at Ngoio Psychology blends clinical expertise with Pacific Indigenous healing practices. Assessments incorporate both cultural and clinical components. We have expertise in report writing.

Training and Supervision
Ngoio Psychology provides both clinical and cultural supervision. This unique blend requires clinicians to engage with their own cultural beliefs, understand their clients deeply, and draw on their clients' rich ancestry and stories of survival and resilience. Dr. Evangelene's 20 years of experience with Maori and Pacific clients, combined with indigenous Pacific conceptualizations of wellbeing, healing practices, and empowerment, ensures strong clinical and cultural expertise. Dr Evangelene also provides training and supervision in the clinical use of Mana Moana and indigenous theory of wellbeing developed by Dr Karlo Mila.
